Naomi requested scrambled eggs for breakfast...see her placemat? She chose that one day at Target as her prize. Yup. She could've picked anything, but all she wanted was the one place mat.
Time to get more fruit!
Taryn has already started on her grammar. This is her desk for school.
Hannah thought she'd be a little creative today. Kinda hurts to look at, no?
Did a little yard work after lunch...
Found this guy on the garage door. Prettier in person, I think.
After visiting my mom, I had to go out and buy some. She made some for me to take, but I forgot it. =[ It's not the same, but it'll do.
We had planned to work and then go to a high school football game out near L.A., but Marco got home too late. He decided that we all needed to go out and spend some good family time together. Fine by me!

The girls...ready to go home!
Well, that's our day. Not a whole lot, but that's good for us. Usually we are running in all different directions. Saturdays and Sundays are always busy with church stuff, so it was nice to take it slow. With everything that we've been through, the most important thing we've learned is that your family comes first. That's it. I truly believe that when we take care of ourselves as a family, God will allow all of our other relationships to bloom because of it. Have a great weekend!

I know I tell you this all the time, but your girls are just darling!
Sounds like the perfect day, well, except for finding the little "visitor" on your garage door, DEFINITELY could have done without that!
OSF is my all time FAV restaurant ever, man I wish we had one here!
Enjoy your weekend.
What a nice day you had. You are so right about family coming first.
I also love new look of your blog - very seasonal.
I LOVE the Spaghetti Factory, but the closest one to us is in Atlanta. Last time we were there (in July) I ordered the Potpourri plate! Yummy!
PS> I still owe you the book you won on my blog, but I need your address ; )
Loved your photos! Hannah's outfit was interesting. LOL!
Love it! Hannah and my Caden are destined for each other ... or to be trend starters :) I'm all about family coming first. Love your blog!
Your girls are beautiful! I love days like the one you narrated. Nothing better than a spontaneous outing as a family! Everyone loves it! Miss you! - Rachel
